We at Frog Lob are proud outdoor adventurist from all backgrounds of the outdoors. All our products are designed to be used in the outdoors so that is exactly where we test them. Where we can, we will test the features and capabilities of our products in real world conditions, not just controlled labs, so you know you're getting something actual outdoorsy people feels right!

The original Frog Lob name was actually a group name and came from an expedition with the British Exploring Society in the Cairngorms. During the expedition, the group drained all their collective power fairly quickly just through standard use which meant torches' power had to be rationed, phones had to be limited by use, sports watches had to go on low power mode and one shivering group member had to give up her small electric hand warmers! As a result, many of the original members after the expedition started coming up with an idea to recharge their powerbanks during the windy nights giving birth to the portable wind turbine!
